Friday again!!!

I mistakenly thought i had Bella and Rascal in the AM but not until afternoon soooo....tomorrow will be the first day in i don't know how long that i don't have to get up early.  I must somehow convince the masses around here that i need to sleep and they DON'T need to have breakfast by 5am!!!

 

More cats! and stuff

I'm in the thinking stages of a catio for my cats -- but meanwhile, Jack Bunny would be thrilled to know the cats are able to get some use from his former pen.  I have a canvas cover and awning for the ex-pen and Jack used to camp out in the summer time. This was an experiment to see how they would like it. Truck, the maine coon with the lion cut, has lived here since December, 2004, and never stepped on grass before. 

 Demon, the calico, was a rescue.  She was abandoned when her people moved, leaving her behind and pregnant.  Some friends of my son took her in until she weaned the kittens and then she was doomed to go to the pound, so i brought her here and got her spayed.  Except for accidentally escaping once, she hasn't been back outside since she moved in. 

Last night, Dipper was resting peacefully in Cheeto's spot on my desk.  Sahara is still testing the waters around here, putting the fear of recently-spayed, temperamental cat in all of my household.  Dipper held his own last night and she left him alone. 

YOU want ME to move?  hahahahaha

Well, i guess i'll just sit here and contemplate my next move.

How could i nearly forget???? Cheeto is nine years old today.  His sister-cat, Kat, was nine years old on the 18th.  They came from the same place, but different litters.

FRIDAY!!

Had some fun pets today.  Get to visit Scarlet O'Hara (labradoodle), her cat Xena and chinchilla, Toddie for the next week.  Keeper and Sophia's mom will be coming home in a few days and i'll miss seeing them.  Also get to start Bella and Rascal on Saturday along with Mickey and Stuart, my new kitties for the week.  Here's a few shots from today -- hope everyone has a great weekend -- i know i am going to!!

She's Back!!!

OLHEFER is finally home!!!  Its been a long 2 1/2 months....she was injured the end of January.  Then it took some time to get the insurance company to do their job....and then our friend at Honda, Tyler, had to get the parts ordered.....so OLHEFER went into the body shop on March 14, and finally came home today, feeling like a new CR-V, thank you.  My collies were ecstatic -- finally got to go for a run by the river and play with Simone & Phoebe before the storm they say is coming gets here.

We HIGHLY recommend the Honda dealership in Reno -- for service and absolutely the collision repair center for repairs when your car is damaged.  Look for Tyler!!
