Quail family

Last year I had a quail family in my back yard for a few weeks.  I  was so excited watching them.  I happened by the kitchen window a few minutes ago.....and I have another family!!! Maybe it is the same parents and they remembered being safe.  Actually I think what happens is someone falls off the retaining wall or maybe tries to fly -- and then can't get back up there so the whole family has to stay in my yard.  So no more backyard time for the collies -- and of course the cats are GLUED to the windows!  I will post pictures soon!
